Server Migration in vega cluster [vega-s1]

Server Migration in vega cluster [vega-s1]

Dear Valued Customer,

As part of our ongoing process to ensure our servers remain secure and updated, we will be migrating your hosting service from current server to the new updated server in our cluster.

This is required because the operating system of currrent server [vega-s1] currently uses will be End-Of-Life in Q3 2024, and will no longer receive security or other updates after this date.

The migration date will be Tuesday, 11th of June 2024

Please check your current domains and accounts and delete any that are no longer being used and/or no longer needed in that account. This will increase the speed of the migration and reduce complexity on the day.

IF YOU ARE USING OUR DNS SERVERS

Provided you do not use an external DNS service, such as Cloudflare, then you should ensure that the nameservers associated with any domains are set to:

ns1.vega.nexuscloud.co.in
ns2.vega.nexuscloud.co.in

Email client settings: If you have not yet switched to using your domain name (e.g. mail.yourdomain.com) as your mail server hostname for incoming and outoing server settings in your mail client, we strongly recommend that you do so before the migration date as this will reduce any downtime on the date of migration, and make any future migrations simpler.

The details of your new server will be:

Server: vega-s2
IP: 149.255.62.149

IF YOU USE AN EXTERNAL DNS SERVICE - FOR EXAMPLE CLOUDFLARE

If domains on your hosting account(s) are not using our shared DNS servers, then you will need to update your DNS services to point to the following location on the day of migration:

Server: vega-s2
IP: 149.255.62.149
POP/IMAP: mail.yourdomain.com
